About Buteline

Buteline designs, engineers and manufactures a world-acclaimed plumbing system for hot and cold potable water for both domestic and commercial applications. As a manufacturer we are able to supply to meet local demand while closely monitoring and testing product quality.

Established in 1980 in New Zealand by founding engineer David J Picton, the Buteline Group started its Malaysian operations in 1993 with an office in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. This was followed up shortly with the setting up of a 28,000 square feet manufacturing plant in 1994 in Nilai, an industrial town in the state of Negeri Sembilan.

As well as its operations in Malaysia, Buteline has a factory in New Zealand and has grown from a small family business to a dynamic international company with ISO 9001 certification, exporting to Australia, the United Kingdom and the Pacific Islands. In 2005, Buteline Malaysia Sdn Bhd re-located to a newer modern office in Damansara Heights.

To this day, Managing Director and David's son, Llewellyn Picton, continues with his team to uphold a commitment that was made from the very beginning - to provide the market with secure, modern and time-saving professional plumbing solutions. Our commitment to excellence and innovation continues to be evident with every product shipped from our manufacturing facilities here in Malaysia and in New Zealand.
