Installation Guide for Connecting to Copper Compression Fitting
The Buteline Plumbing System is designed to be used with complete confidence. You will get a simple, controlled accurate joint every time. Below is a quick installation guide:
Step 1 Cut Copper Pipe
Cut copper pipe to length, ensuring the end is square and free from burrs.
Step 2 Slide on Buteline Compression Fitting
Slide the compression fitting onto the copper pipe, ensuring that the nut and olive are in place.
Step 3 Tighten
Tighten the compression fitting.
Step 4 Insert Buteline Pipe and Clamp
Insert the PB pipe fully up to the shoulder of the fitting and clamp using the Buteline clamp tool.
Position the Buteline clamp tool squarely, approximately 2mm in from the end of the clamp ring.
Closes handles to stops, hold in the tightly closed position for a moment to ensure that the flow of material is performed.
Open and remove the tool.
Step 5 All complete!
