Step 1: Cut

STEP 1: CUT

▪ Slightly twist pipe as you begin to cut.

▪ Use the Buteline PB pipe cutter to ensure a square clean cut.

Step 2: Insert Pipe

STEP 2: INSERT PIPE

▪ Once you have cut the pipe, simply insert into the Buteline fitting required to do the job.

Note: Make sure you fully insert to flush.

Step 3: Clamp

STEP 3: CLAMP

▪ Clamp the Buteline fitting, using ONLY the Buteline clamping tool.

▪ Position the Buteline clamp tool squarely, approximately 2mm in from the end of the clamp ring.

▪ Close handles to stops, hold in the tightly closed position for a moment, this ensures that the flow of material is performed.

▪ Open and remove tool.

Step 4: Completion

STEP 4: COMPLETION

▪ As you can see in the image, the process of using the Buteline System is quick, simple and highly efficient.

These Specifi cations are essential for Architects, Builders, Designers and Home Owners to ensure full compliance with New Zealand’s Building Act 2004. The Buteline Plumbing System has the “Accreditation Certifi cate” to prove compliance for potable hot and cold water reticulation in buildings in New Zealand.
