The Buteline Plumbing System is designed to be used with complete
confidence. You will get a simple, controlled accurate joint every
time. DO NOT USE ANY FORM
OF GLUE OR SOLVENT!
Cut
Cut the pipe to length squarely and cleanly
using the Buteline pipe cutter.
Insert Pipe
Fully insert the pipe into the
Buteline fitting.
Clamp
Position the clamp tool squarely and approximately 2mm
from the edge of the factory fitted reinforcing ring.
Completion
Close clamp tool handles completely. A good clamp will
produce a ‘flare’ at the end of the reinforcing ring.
NOTE: If a joint is clamped in the wrong position, clamp again in the correct position (to achieve full clamp width) - the design is such that no damage is done to the pipe or fittings.
