BUTELINE FITTINGS - PE SYSTEMS

The Buteline Plumbing System is designed to be used with complete confidence. You will get a simple, controlled accurate joint every time. DO NOT USE ANY FORM OF GLUE OR SOLVENT!

Step 1

Cut
Cut the pipe to length squarely and cleanly
using the Buteline pipe cutter.

Step 2

Insert Pipe
Fully insert the pipe into the Buteline fitting.

Step 3

Clamp
Position the clamp tool squarely and approximately 2mm
from the edge of the factory fitted reinforcing ring.

Step 4

Completion
Close clamp tool handles completely. A good clamp will
produce a ‘flare’ at the end of the reinforcing ring.

NOTE: If a joint is clamped in the wrong position, clamp again in the correct position (to achieve full clamp width) - the design is such that no damage is done to the pipe or fittings.
