Buteline
is a modern and highly successful international company.
Buteline was established in 1980 in New Zealand by founding engineer
Mr. David J Picton.
The success of Buteline is due to its commitment to produce a
modern plumbing system to consistently high engineering standards.
The Buteline group started it's Malaysian operations in 1993 with an office in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. This was followed up shortly with the setting up of it's own 28,000 square feet manufacturing plant in 1994 at Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, an industrial town just outside Kuala Lumpur. Buteline Malaysia have also just recently relocated to a new modern office.
With the introduction of the Bute-PB, the Polybutene-1 (PB) (PB) hot & cold potable water plumbing system, it's patented clamp fitting plumbing system into the local market in 1994, Buteline Malaysia quickly established itself a reputation as a provider of high performance & quality plumbing system with an excellent record of product reliability and customer support & service.
Recognizing the local requirements and applications, the company with it's advanced R & D quickly designed, developed and tested a cold potable water plumbing system to meet this demand. This was the Bute-PE, the high density HDPE plumbing system introduced into the local market in 1996 after conforming to all the required tests and qualification criteria for a safe and potable plumbing system. Riding on Buteline Malaysia's established reputation for product performance & reliability coupled with it's recognized excellent customer support & service, the Bute-PE plumbing system has become the de-facto standard for the service & distribution plumbing system in the local market.
Buteline Malaysia manufactures and supplies Bute-PB and Bute-PE plumbing system to the local and offshore (ASEAN region) markets in conformance to international & local standards – the ASNZ 2642, AS 1460 and MS 1058 standards.
