Buteline manufactures pipes in three sizes up to 28mm in Polybutene-1 (PB) (PB) material. Polybutene-1 (PB), which was developed over 30 years ago for use as a hot and cold domestic plumbing pipe, is a proven solution for the conveyance of clean healthy drinking water. In addition Buteline has adopted polyethylene as a cost effective alternative plumbing material for cold water only installations. Polyethylene is accepted worldwide as one of the preferred materials for the transport of potable water, and has been in service for over 50 years.

Buteline pipe is manufactured on state of the art equipment in modern high tech environment. Buteline engineering division design and build all of the special purpose machinery to produce the pipe. The plant has the capability to produce coils and straight lengths and automated to cut Quality Assurance samples, ensuring pipe quality is monitored and maintained throughout manufacture.
